Dusky Cherub Angelfish — quick facts
Care & aquarium requirements
Angelfish are showpiece marine fish, from the jewel-like dwarf Centropyge to the large, regal Pomacanthus species. Their colour and presence make them anchor fish for any display. They are generally hardy once settled and benefit from a varied omnivorous diet including marine algae and sponge-based foods.
Compatibility & reef behaviour
Reef compatibility depends on the species: many dwarf angels are kept in reefs with caution, while larger angels may nip corals and clams. Most are semi-aggressive and best added to a community as an established centrepiece, usually one angel per genus.
Export packaging & shipping
Each specimen is conditioned and purged before packing, then bagged in clean, temperature-matched saltwater and charged with pure oxygen for the journey. Bags are insulated in polystyrene boxes and routed for the shortest reliable transit to your airport, helping us hold DOA below 2%. For more on how we keep losses low, see our guides on professional packing and mortality prevention.
